We started WearFrom because we were bored of seeing healthcare uniforms that felt like an afterthought – practical, yes, but not personal and definitely not fun. Coming from trades and nursing, we know how hard your body works and how much time you spend in your uniforms, so they need to pull their weight in comfort, durability and design.
When everyone looks the same, you can start to feel invisible – like just another pair of hands on the roster. WearFrom is our way of saying “I see you” with uniforms that still meet the brief, but quietly remind you that you’re a whole person underneath the badge.
We started WearFrom because we wanted to bring something fresh, personal and exciting to healthcare uniforms. Coming from a nursing and trades background, we knew the importance of practical workwear but also knew it didn’t have to be plain and boring.
Working in environments where everyone wears the same, you can feel underappreciated and overlooked - so we created something to help lift you on those tough days.
The birth of our concept “Po-Ji” Pocket Emoji. Po-Jis are custom embroidery that remind our customers of what makes them happy - maybe their pet, a hobby or passion - even themselves. People see mine and laugh, “is that you?” Little moments like that make a hard day just a little easier.
Not only for healthcare professionals but for our patients - they can sometimes feel alone, stressed and scared in a hospital. Our Po-Jis help break the ice and build a connection between patients and carers.
Because our scrubs are manufactured with premium materials that healthcare professionals know and love, with a twist of game-changing customisation that hasn’t been available before and with our fast turn-around time, we are confident that people will love it even more!
The embroidery process is complicated because every Po-Ji starts off as just an idea, but turning that idea into a POJI is a technical puzzle. Some designs look promising on the screen and then disappoint once embroidered, so there’s a lot of sampling and tweaking until the Po-Ji looks exactly how we imagined it on your pocket.
We made WearFrom for the people who hold it all together. Nurses, midwives, allied health, support staff. We love how wildly diverse the healthcare community is. We’re building a space where your skills and your story both matter – and your scrubs finally reflect that.
We’re excited to keep dropping new Po-Ji designs, to stitch your stories onto your pockets, and to see that first little spark when someone notices your embroidery and smiles. We can’t wait to share more customer Po-Jis, more behind-the-scenes of the embroidery process, and more moments where you feel genuinely seen in your workwear.
